The clouds and rain seemed to have settled in. The high yesterday was 40 with a low of 31. It has been windy and rainy and looks like there is plenty more where that came from. Chris and I are getting ready to run our third half marathon in six months, next Sunday. This weather is putting a damper on our training. Oh well, that is part of life up top.

Allyson, the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon? I'm doing it, too! I have hiked LeConte over the winter when I had short training days!

@Melis- yep, that is the one. I was training for my first full and I ran a half in Feb. and messed up my foot. I haven't run in a month. I know I can walk a half so hopefully I will finish. Good luck with yours. See you on the course ;-)

Cool b&w photo! Very stark & beautiful. How many cabins are there at the lodge? It's hard to get an idea from photos because of the different levels. Hope your foot heals quickly! :)

Thanks Rod, I got a new camera so I have been messing around with the different shooting modes. Lot of fun.
