Susan, I use the website www.hikinginthesmokys.com for trail information including distance, trail features, evelation gain per mile and total elevation gain on each trail. The site also displays maps for each trail.

You are so right and it makes me "homesick" for the mountain! Think about us when you're eating your pancakes and drinking your Tang. We'll see you in September...counting the days!

came from our place in townsend to the cove sunday.many trees down from thursdays storm.glad everyones safe on top.mother nature can be tough,but still so beautiful.gota go,craving breakfast.

Don't forget the scrambled eggs! They seem to taste better just knowing that they were delivered by llamas. The hot, buttered grits ain't too shabby either.
