 An old friend of mine from high school showed up on the mountain to celebrate her honeymoon. Casey and Mike Armstrong made the hike up Alum Cave on Monday and spent two nights on top of the mountain. The weather was beautiful yesterday. The high reached a comfortable 62 degrees with the low last night of 40. It was a great day to see what the mountain has to offer. So, congratulations Casey and Mike. Anybody who honeymoons on top of this amazing mountain is guaranteed a long and wonderful marriage.

We are coming up this weekend and were wondering the design on the shirts for 2010? Can you post a picture as my wife and daughters who are not coming can decide on a memento! What's the weather looking like for Sat and Sunday? See ya soon!

The shirts this year are different but as usual a true keepsake. We "earned" ours last week with a hike in the rain and snow. Tell the family members that aren't hiking the mountain that they don't get shirts since they didn't earn them. 5/5/2010 04:52:44 pm
I personally have over ten shirts, but I finally had my whole blended family there last year hiking in the driving rain with ponchos! My wife earns her shirt every day with 6 children! LOL!
