Hello down there LeConte lovers! Logan came up to visit us today and brought his cute smile and enthusiasm as always. We even had some time for a crew photo, minus Tate (sorry man). It's almost Halloween everybody which begs the question... what will you be? Up here we've been talking about many costume ideas from being Matt McConaughey (Luke), powder puff girls, to even a jolly pumpkin. Tomorrow should bring some surprises and fun. Also, we've got a lot of boomers up here running around and squeaking so be careful where you place your food or candy.
Today has been mostly sunny with a current temp of 50. Last nights low was 38. Llamas are on their way up the mountain tomorrow. Happy Hiking everybody! -Justin

We came up Saturday to celebrate our 30th anniversary and it was everything we thought it would be and more. Great hike up and down, awesome place with an unbelievable staff, great food with a bunch of new friends and a concert in the lodge by a string trio. How did they get that cello up the mountain? And seeing the llamas on the way down. Thanks so much for making it so special for us!

Someone could write a book on all the 'things' that have been carried up to the Lodge. I, for one, would love to read it!

I can tell you that we actually carried a sun shower up, That was before they had hot water available from the kitchen. Wouldn't want to go to bed dirty after a long hike. Comments are closed.
