Apologies for the lack of blog yesterday. I was feeling too under the weather to even give the weather...but with the help of sleep, tea and cold medicine, I'm back in the game today!
We have snow today! Yesterday's weather stayed fairly mild with the high at 51 and the low reaching 26 overnight. Rain came in right around 9 last night, giving us 3.8" and turning into flurries of frozen mist around 6 this morning. The temperature is continuing to drop, now around 24 and the snow is really starting the pile up quickly. Absolutely bring your traction if you are planning on hiking today! (I've already slipped myself this morning...very graceful.) The llamas made their second successful trip to the lodge yesterday. It is always a joy to see Chrissy and Allen at the same time, as rare as that is! Ya'll stay warm today!

Be careful out there today. I'm thinking Spring is a little under the weather as well today.

You are right, Sara. As manager, Ruthie is very friendly and doesn't make you feel like you are putting her out-- very pleasant , can't wait to come back! A great asset to the lodge. Comments are closed.
