_Morning,

The mountain is in a heavy cloud at the moment. The high yesterday reached 46 degrees and the overnight low was 35 degrees. It was 41 degrees and raining at 7am observation. The mountain received .70" of rain yesterday... I would've been set for a White Christmas if it were 10 degrees colder yesterday! The NOAA forecast is calling for a 90% chance of rain. Be prepared to get wet if you're venturing up today! Enjoy the day!

Raining here also. Very grey day. Love your thoughts and comments especially the one about living life and existing. Thinking of you today.

Sunny, breezy and a beautiful 74 degrees here in Naples FL. I will be leaving tomorrow to head to Sevierville and do some hiking in the mountains. Probably won't tackle LeConte this trip but may attempt it in January before Wilderness Wildlife Week. Thoroughly enjoy all your pictures and posts JP!! Keep up the great work!
