My nose must of been stuffy yesterday. No snow, YET!! We have the temperatures for it, we just need the precipitation. I put on my puffy jacket and hat and went outside this morning to get some shots of the frost that is covering the trees. It is a beautiful site this morning. The low was a bone chilling 25 degrees last night. I guess it is time to get out my winter clothes and boots. I think we may have skipped fall.

Oh my! Look at that white stuff, and to think it was so pretty and sunny yesterday afternoon. The girls and I had a terrific time hiking up yesterday and were amazed by the clear views and fall color along Alum Cave. So many nice people at the lodge too. We can't wait to come back next year. Does anyone know how that young man did climbing up and down the mountain yesterday? He was a hoot! Take care and God bless.

Hi Ellen J. I know that "young man." He's my son, and yes, he is a hoot. He hiked up and down the mountain via the Alum Cave Trail 5 times in one day for a total of 50 miles. Comments are closed.
