Greetings valley dwellers! Remember when I said it was getting chilly? Well now it's COLD. The flowers are dying, the temperatures are dropping, and the heaters are cranking. Fall is officially in full swing. It really won't be long now until the first snow hits. Cold weather means beautiful inversions! The view from above the clouds is phenomenal, so come check it out! The low last night was 37 and the current temperature is 48. Stay warm and happy hiking! Love, Turnip Inversion photo by Matt Manfredi

Crank up those heaters, Turnip and get the hot cocoa ready! I'll be up there in about 3 weeks from now! Yippee skippy, I'm beginning to get downright giddy just thinking about it!!!!! Have a beautiful autumn weekend!

Wow! That is so beautiful! The sky was so clear when we were up a few weeks ago. It was great for seeing the landscapes below, but that's a pretty awesome view right there! Are those types of cloud inversions more common during cold weather? Comments are closed.
