Well, we survived the holidays and now things are getting back to normal. “Normal “ is obviously foggy mornings and clearing skies in the afternoon. Our morning temperature today is 42 degrees and no precipitation in the past 24 hours. But watch out and pack your rain gear because more rain is forecast for the next few days! The roads and trails are open at the present time.
I walked out to Myrtle Point yesterday and enjoyed the sunshine. At Apollo Overlook I was able to look over to the Newfound Gap parking area and watch the traffic. Yes, the roads are returning to normal!
It looks like today would be a good day to clean the chimneys on the lamps. That’s the sort of project that always needs to be done around here.
