Good Morning, It’s currently clear with almost not wind. Mountain LeConte is experiencing is in a spring mood today with a balmy temperature of 36 degrees. It should be another gorgeous day, but I would still recommend warm layers if you plan on making it up to the higher elevations. 24 hour temperature range | High: 36 Low: 14 NOAA 7-Day Forecast Mountain - Forecast Weather -- The rich aroma of fresh brewed coffee powered me toward the rising sun. What would the day bring? I let the thought come in one here and out the other - right now, the moment - was all that mattered. The unlit shadows of the forest gazed at me with interest. I returned the gaze and continued toward the point. Arriving at my destination, the mountains shared a one of kind surprise. My eyes feasted on the boiling bowl of clouds as they poured over Charlies Bunion. I closed my eyes, the flavors were too rich. How could a man ever look at the world the same again? It couldn't be done. Onward, Seth “It is a great obstacle to happiness to expect too much.”

Wow! Number. 388 walked em all. Brings back precious memories to a 76 year old, bin there done that. If God will let me, I will see it again. No way to describe the glory of a sunrise when walking 25 miles unstop from Newfound Gap in one day to the Cosby Tenn. Campground. All I can say to describe it is leaving out at four in the morning on top of the world you will see a small glimpse of what Heaven will be. WOW!!!!
