 I understand the large hearts of heroes, The courage of present times and all times. Walt Whitman Morning y'all, It's a crisp, cloudy day up top. The high yesterday reached 49 (!!!) degrees. The overnight low was 25 degrees. It was 25 degrees and clear at 7am observation. The mountain received .64 inches of rain last night and no snow. There is no snow up top. The trails may be a little slick, but Microspikes are not necessary. Get out and enjoy the day! I am headed to Alabama for the Mountain Mist 50k this weekend. The blog will return on Monday! Enjoy the Smokies for me! ps: a hearty thank you to the kind soul that left some Bolthouse smoothies for me up top yesterday! They are much appreciated!
