COLDEST TEMPERATURES THIS SEASON!! Good morning folks, Its a very cold start to the morning on LeConte. Camp is silent and coated in a fluffy powder again. Let me tell ya it’s brutally cold this morning. The high yesterday reached 34 degrees. The overnight low bottomed out at -3. It’s currently -3 with light flurries and calm winds. We received 1.20” of precipitation and a whopping 12” of new snow. Snow depth sits at 20” folks. All roads are closed at this time! Sun returns today and should make a fantastic day for tubing. Enjoy the weekend folks. I sure will with all the snow! Yesterday’s hike back up to the mountain, snow flurries began around 10am. A full load of groceries was in tow for the kitchen. Very heavy! Heavy snow fell most of the afternoon and evening. Snow seems to follow me. I welcome it. Anyways, the coffee is hot and homemade biscuits are on the menu. SEE YOU AT THE TOP! PNUT
