Hello down there peeps! I hope everyone's Friday is as good as ours up here. There is this nice cool breeze kicking up some llama smells but I will take llama stank over 90+ degree weather any day. It is currently 68 degrees and super sunny. #jealious? Alison is holding down the kitchen like a boss. Henry is slinging T-shirts faster than I can fold them. The rest of my crew are enjoying the weather in their own way. #napping #reading #hiding. It is busy!!!

Brian, I have just been seeing pictures of the chocolate chip cookies lately. Do ya'll still make the chocolate oatmeal no-bakes? Have a happy, but probably very busy, 4th of July weekend!

Thanks Tim! I'm assuming you are the one who answered my question. I will be a guest again this year for several nights in October. I hope we can purchase them also! I was deprived of them on my first ever trip up last October. Kind of delirious after my hike up that day and didn't even see them sitting on the table at dinner and the husband didn't tell me they were there either! Those cookies were something I wanted so bad when I got up there and I didn't even realize that I forgot to ask about them until I was off the mountain the next day. I won't forget this year! Ha!

Hi y'all! Question - we have reservations coming up Sunday July 15th. We would like to hike up Alum but it appears you can't park there. We are coming down Rainbow. Can you park at alum and if not, shuttle service suggested? Thank you!!

the alum trail and parking lot are closed monday - thursday for trail upgrades. they are open friday, saturday, and sunday. that is the last information i had and i think it is still correct. hope you have a great time.
