Mom, mom, mom, mom...wait for me!
Good morning from a cloudy, but not as wet mountain top! Yesterday's high was 57 and the low was 50 and we received .5" of rain once again. Today has still been on the cooler side, sitting right in the mid 50s, but the sun is trying its hardest to break through some of the cloud cover that is socking us in. Everyone have a lovely start to your week!

How cute the pic.is toady.I would hate to have to deceide on the best photographer because all five(5) of you are excellent. The 4th.picnic table was so inviting and seeing all the guest sitting around eating made me jealous.I have a question about the guest sightings have they been discontinued? They use to be guest that visited during the yr.telling names and where they were from and I loved seeing ever one and the ones that had been up from Ms.They started the new ones with former LeConte vistors in other states and countries and that was nice also but it has been the same for mos.and mos. Thanks and Have a blessed day.

Anybody know what's up with Doug Y. Haven't seen a comment from him in a couple weeks. Hibernating ???

Nice picture! Everything looks so green and fresh. Can just about smell the fresh air. What's the black animal to the right of the fawn? Looks like a hog or dog. Doesn't quite look like a bear to me?!?

That black animal is a tree limb.

Franklin, I don't know....a post here upset him I think....but I miss his posts and I've been checking his blog site from time to time to see if he has posted anything new there. You just reminded me to check it today! Thanks!

Yeah, when you zoom out it does look like a branch on the big evergreen. But, I had zoomed in to get a better look at the fawn and I thought it was an animal. Looks like it has a short tail, has its head down grazing and three legs are visible. One of those times when you see something in another object I guess! Thanks!

Any new reports on bear activity on Mt. LeConte? Saw that the LeConte Backcountry Shelter is still closed.
