July has certainly brought warmer weather. We are seeing more and more sunny days with temperatures easily reaching into the 70s. With all that sunshine we are starting to see the beginnings of some beautiful wildflowers at the top. Though conditions at the top are perfect, it is getting very hot in the valley. Expect trail conditions for the first few miles to be in the 90s. Be sure to hike with PLENTY of water and sunscreen is always a good idea.
We are currently at a perfectly breezy 65 degrees. Spending most of the day buried deep in the clouds. With plenty of day hikers enjoying sack lunches in the dinning hall, Llamas getting unpacked off the back porch and a full camps worth of overnight guests on the way up, crew are in full swing. We couldn't ask for a better way to spend the day. We love being on top of the mountain but enjoy even more the opportunity to help others get out and enjoy this wonderful mountain.
