Good Morning All,

It is with a heavy heart that we say farewell to our head cook Heather. She is leaving the mountain to pursue higher education in the field of music studies. We couldn’t be happier for her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors. Thank you so much Heather for all the wonder that you brought to LeConte.
The thing about the crew here at LeConte Lodge is that we are never short of amazing people. Stepping up to fill the role of head cook is Emily. Emily has been with us the entire 2018 season. She loves and knows LeConte very well. We are super excited to she all the amazing things she brings to her new role here.

Things have been cooling down for us with yesterdays high only reaching 63 degrees. The lows have surprisingly been dropping into the 40s, last night we dropped to 49 degrees. Today we are surrounded by heavy cloud coverage with a slight chance of rain. Yesterday we received .19 inches of rain.
