​Heres to the day hikers out there. To the overnight guest. To the adventure seekers. Heres to those that pick the path less traveled. To all the crazy backpackers out there. To those that trade paved roads for muddy trails. To those that out seek nature. Heres to those that keep pushing forward no matter the challenge. To those that say 'one more step'. To those that appreciate and respect nature. Heres to those that spread the joy of the outdoors to others. To those that plant trees and grow things. To those that crave the best views. To those that respect the mountain. To those that strap on hiking boots and head for the trails.

Heres to You, from Mount LeConte

Another beautiful day. Sun is out and no rain on the forecast. Temperatures are warming up as we reach the upper 60s. Yesterdays high was a chilly 62 degrees with a low of 49 degrees. With this great weather camp is in full swing with day hikers, guests, crew and wildlife all on the move.
