Seems like everyone was waiting on the sunshine to hike. We’ve finally strung together some beautiful sunny days on the mountain, and seen an uptick in visitor traffic along with it. Temps up here have been 20-30° cooler than what is being felt down below, just another reason to hit the upper elevations. The decent weather looks to be hanging around through mid week before the chances for precip return. We’ll enjoy it while we’ve got it.
The Crew has been working hard to keep this place running strong, and any chance they get to play outside they quickly take. Also been great to tackle some outdoor projects for the first time in weeks. The Trails Forever folks are getting deeper into their second phase of the Trillium Gap rehabilitation project. In the coming weeks their work could alter our llama packing routine, and we may not decide which days to pack until the day of. We’re excited to see what improvements they will make these next several months.
