Its a beautiful and sunny day at 6593' today as all the crew are running around in shorts and playing with frisbees in between shifts. While at 55 degrees, it is a little chilly in the shade but so comfortable in the sunshine. Overnight surprisingly, we reached a lot of 34 degrees. In JUNE!!! None of us were prepared for the cold snap. I went to bed with my windows open as we were only expected to hit the lower 50s and woke up to a chill I was not ready for. Needless to say I struggled getting out of bed until I noticed the beautiful sunrise peeking through my curtains. Today, were expected to stay in the mid to upper 50s and could see some scattered showers in the late afternoon. If you're planning a hike up, remember your waterproof gear as this time of year, you never know when we might get a scattered shower in the late afternoon. Have a fantastic Tuesday!
