Knitting help wanted!

Hello hello!

This is Jessica (first time blogger here) and I am writing to you from the back steps of the kitchen enjoying the last bits of daylight after a long, but fun day cooking.

It was really pretty today, lots of sun as well as chilly Fall air moving in. The high yesterday was 72 and the low this morning was 46.

Anyway, let's cut to the chase. I am in the process of knitting my brother a sweater for Christmas. The issue is that all I have ever knitted is hats. I spent a lot of time at Loopville (a yarn store in Knoxville) getting help from the awesome people there, but I am a little stuck at this point in my pattern. So if anyone that is planning on hiking up that knows anything about that sort of thing, come to the kitchen and ask for Jessica. I'd love to learn some new things and get this sweater finished!

Thank you in advance!

If you have internet access at any time you can try knittinghelp.com. I learned to knit with the help of those great folks. Lots of friendly people who are more than willing to help out on the forums.

Hey, another knitter Jessica from Knoxville here. What a nice gift idea! Is Ravelry an option for you with the internet connection up there? If so, Loopville has a group and I will bet they can help you figure things out via their message board. You may be able to get help in the pattern designer's group, too.

One whom can ask for help is liked by many.

Jessica...my sister Kathy is scheduled to be up there next week and is a great knitter. She is currently knitting me a surprise hoodie/sweater for Christmas (Ok-maybe not a surprise;). She is a great teacher and always more than willing to give guidance. Good luck!

Jessica- I'm hiking up next Wednesday Sept 21, I've knit several sweaters and I'd be happy to take a look and see if we can sort it out. Anything else you might need let me know and I can bring it (as long as it's not too heavy! ;)
