It is the time of year when we are working before the sun comes up. I love the glow of the lanterns around camp. I find myself looking for reflections in every window and door. The nights are getting cold. The low last night was 37 with a high yesterday of 55. There seems to be a rumor that we may get snow this weekend. You never know what could happen with in a days time on Mt. LeConte.

Looks like it's warm in there...wish I was there to enjoy it with some hot coffee. Nice perspective.

I remember seeing the glow of the lantern in the cabin next to us during our overnight stay on the mountain. It was so beautiful! The cabins were so cozy!

The eye of the photographer. Again Allyson has captured simplicity but yet detail. Did you look at this picture and think thats neat. Or did you study it and see the detail in the reflection.I have spent the last twenty minutes going back through the archives looking at all of the pictures from this year.
