Our llama wrangler tells us that the leaves are peaking around 3500'. The color is moving down the mountain. It has been unbelievable up top for the past few days. Yesterday was in the 60s. It was a warm fall day up top.
I wanted to give a quick shout out to Ryan. Thanks for the care package. The crew was excited to see all kinds of goodies from New Orleans. I guess I will be making some beignets and Community coffee.

You know you are not too far away when you round a bend and see the mountain ash berries. Can't wait for our annual fall hike to LeConte!

Beautiful! I'm so excited about going there!! See you soon :) To Harold Ducket (sp?) if you are checking the site. As you requested, my party told the staff about the muscle rolling bar you accidently left in your cabin. They said they would hold it for you - I hope all of that worked out well for you. It was a pleasure to meet you on the trail.

@Wayne- the llamas come up Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. They usually leave the trail head around 8 am. Comments are closed.
