Good Morning,

It feels like a downright heatwave up here. We’re already above freezing at sunup and quickly climbing through the 40s. Skies aren’t as clear as yesterday, but it should be another gorgeous day to play in the woods regardless. We anticipate some rain moving in for the beginning of the week, but don’t let that dampen your spirits.

Why not, may you ask? Because tomorrow is Opening Day of the 2019 season, and today we’re
unveiling this year’s “I Hiked It” shirt design!

So, no need to discuss anything else. Check out just a sampling of what we’ll have to offer this season atop Mt. LeConte. All available for purchase starting tomorrow at noon!

This year’s edition of the “I Hiked It” shirt, another collaborative effort by lead artist, Lisa Line, the folks at American Graffitee, and John Northrup. Look for a plethora of color options in Short, Long, Women’s, and Hoodies.

Where to begin? We revisit the trail series in our next Tim Weberding ornament, featuring the recently renovated Rainbow Falls Trail. We’ve got a great new patch, a secondary magnet with one of our famous llamas, and a stunning new sunset sticker of the mountain’s profile.

New look and new colors from the folks at Camelbak. Keep hydrated in style with our revamped Eddy Bottle 0.75L.

Beanies are back! And we’ve added another new color to the popular wicking caps.

Well, our adorable plush llama has a new friend. Snuggle up in our flannel pajamas, which now include green plaid, or one of our cushy hiking socks.

Bring on the Bandanas. Our popular map bandana will be joined by several new flavor options, great for color coordinating your hiking outfits.

Do you take credit cards on the mountain for shirts?

Is that Lake Gatlinburg or Lake Cherokee just in front of the profile in the sunset patch? All kidding aside I'm going to buy a lot this year!

This is a total shot in the dark, but I hiked to the top of Mt. LeConte via the Alum Cave trail on Fri, March 22 and lost my Costa sunglasses in their case. I had a pack with a bad zipper and things started falling out before we noticed. Thought we got everything, but got back to the hotel and didn't have my sunglasses! Any chance someone found them? Besides losing the sunglasses it was probably our best day on trail! Loved the whole hike!!
