The first day was a success! Everybody made it out unscathed and the lodge is still standing, so that is a win in my book! Yesterday was a warmish mix of sunshine and clouds with a high of 46 and the overnight low at 32. Today looks to be shaping up about the same way, mostly sun so far with intermittent clouds and the temperature around 40.
And now, back to work!

Just heard that we are expecting snow showers in the valley Friday evening. You guys may get to experience a spring snow this year to top off the adventure. Stay safe!

And so it begins ! A new season to enjoy. I know the crew works really hard up there, but oh my, what a wonderful place to work. Can't beat the view.

About what time do the llamas get to Grotto Falls on their way down the mountain in the afternoon? I'd love to get some photos of them behind the falls.

Lauren: I think that the llamas generally depart from the lodge around 1:00p or so, but am not completely sure of this fact; I would think that you could see them pass by Grotto Falls sometime after that. Sorry I don't know specific times, etc.
