Sunset light creeping through the trees.

What a beautiful day yesterday turned into! By lunchtime the rain had stopped, the clouds burned off and we were left with a beautiful afternoon. The high only reached 39, but the sun felt warm. The overnight low was 27 and this morning was clear and calm. There's not a cloud in the sky and it's almost 50 degrees! Most of the ice is melting off, but I would still bring traction just in case there are slick places on the trails.

BRAD AND NICHOLETTE ARE ENGAGED!!!!!!!
(And we all couldn't be happier for them!)

We enjoyed Monday afternoon there and overnight. Great food and hospitality at a truly gorgeous location. Will be back!!

We also spent this past Monday night there for the first time and everything was wonderful, you couldn't ask for any better staff and the food was great, what better place to spend our 20th anniversary!!!
