One of the most bizarre and lovely sunsets thus far.
Happy May Day from the land of perpetual winter! We got a light dusting of spring snow last evening and it is sticking around today. The high yesterday was only 41 and the low fell to a chilly 26. Currently it is only 27 and the sun is refusing to come and thaw us back out into spring. There isn't much snow on the ground, but it is a little slick so watch your step around camp and on the upper portions of the trails today. Another reminder that the Alum Cave trail closes on the 4th! Ya'll stay warm today...
Last night during dinner...green grass and white snow.
The sky cleared for just a few minutes this morning...just long enough.
