Greyish morning....but it's giving way to a beautiful afternoon.
Hello, hello! Another chilly grey morning for us so far...but the sun is on its way and I believe we are going to have a beautiful afternoon! Unfortunately, it seems that the good weather is camera shy because every time I see it clearing up, I grab my camera and run outside just in time for another cloud to blow through. I suppose I'll just have to be patient and wait for the afternoon...
Yesterday's high only reached 39 and the low was 31, but it is already 40 as of now, so I think it will be a warmer day! Everyone enjoy the weather this weekend, but always keep in mind that in the mountains it can turn on a dime. Always pack for rain, just in case!

Another reminder that Alum is closing on Monday, May 4!

Thanks Norman, I found it and enjoyed reading about Doug's hike up Leconte. I always acquire helpful info from reading about the experiences of others!

The photography has been wonderful Ruthie. I can feel that rush of cool air hiking up top and hear the dinner bell calling...keep up the great work, and thanks.
