Bonjour, mes amis! We've had a lovely start to the day so far today. Yesterday's high once again reached 63 and the low was only 47. It stayed relatively socked in for most of the day, but the clouds broke for sunset at the last minute! Today, it is partly cloudy and already up to 57 degrees. There may be showers this afternoon, so pack your rain gear!
Just a reminder that Alum Cave Trail is closed again this morning until Friday morning. A perfect opportunity to meander up to Boulevard or see the mass of wild flowers that takes over Bullhead this time of year! Any which way you come up we will be happy to see you when you arrive!

What days are the Llamas running now? Are they running from the TG trail head? What time do they usually start up the trail?

Guy-you may want to check with the Leconte office if you are planning a particular week-their schedule can change. Right now into June they are running a Sunday-Wednesday-Friday schedule. Phone number-865-429-5704. They are going on the Trillium Gap trail. Probably leave in the early morning hours around 8 but you should ask them.

Do you know when the Alum Cave part of the trail will re-open on Friday morning? I'm leaving Knoxville at around 9 tomorrow to come hike and was wondering if I should plan an alternate route.
