Hello down there!!! It is great being back on the blog! So much is happening up here today. Miss Jessica is cooking her first crew meal, new crew member P-nut is learning how to make the perfect bed, the llamas are coming up, and our incinerator is back in action. The weather today started out sunny and warm, but unfortunate it's feeling like sprinkles. There is a good chance if you are hiking up today you will get wet. It is currently 54 degrees and now cloudy. Yesterday's high reached 59 and the low dropped to 37 degrees. We received zero precipitation over night. Hike safe ya'll

Could you give us a refresher with who is on crew this year. I know new ones just arrived. Who is there and who has if anyone has left.

Someone asked me recently if the food served at the Lodge was brought in fresh on a regular basis. I know that a lot of the season's supplies are delivered in the annual airlift, and that the llamas bring up fresh eggs, for one example, but I really didn't know what sorts of food were re-supplied each week. I am curious to know.

Doug y, It is mainly clean bed sheets, eggs, limited groceries for crew meals & any crew mail come up; dirty laundry, some metal trash and outgoing mail go down are the main things the llamas carry.
