I woke this morning to a beautiful clear sunrise that peaked around the mountain side and revealed a sea of clouds below us. What a great way to start the day. All morning all crew and guest alike have enjoyed spectacular views and warm sunshine. We saw a family of deer playing behind a couple of the cabins and listened to the birds singing away as cabin got cleaned. Could not have asked for a better morning. As I patiently wait for our llama team to arrive with loads of supplies I have witness a massive cloud formation overtake all of camp. Currently socked in. Weather forecasts are not calling for any more rain today and after receiving 1.2 inches yesterday we are looking forward to staying dry. Last nights low dropped to a surprising 38 degrees but we are warming up fast as it is currently 47 degrees. Be sure to pack extra layers for those planning a hike up.
