And what a beautiful morning it is. Clear skies are allowing sunshine to pour over the summit. Not a single rain cloud in sight has our spirits high. All of crew are hurrying to finish up their morning routine so they can take advantage of the weather and go hit the trails for the afternoon. A few crew members even woke a little early to pack a day bag and have it sitting by the door ready to go. So come on up and enjoy the afternoon with us, most likely to see the crew on the trails too.
It is currently 51 degrees outside and we are expecting our high to reach the mid 50s. Temperatures at night are staying consistent with a low of 40 degrees. For those planning a trip up be sure to bring extra layers for the chilly evenings. Friendly reminder that it is usually about 20-30 degrees warmer at the base of the mountain so expect those first few miles of the trail to be on the hotter side. Be sure to pack plenty of water.
