The temperatures, on the mountain, can change dramatically day to day. The 24 hour low from yesterday was 26. The high was 45. We did not hit freezing temperatures last night. This is a prime example of why you should be prepared when going out into the backcountry. You may start out in the sunshine and warmer temperatures and then experience freezing temperatures at night. The snow is melting up top and we are left with patches of snow on the ground. With the warmer temperatures coming in for the weekend, the snow will be gone by tomorrow.

I was telling a coworker about the snow up at the lodge already and was trying to remember what the total snowfall for last winter was ? I think you had around 48" on the ground at one point, but as I've been diagnosed with CRS I don't know; (Can't Remember Stuff)
