It sounds like we have a huge river on top of the mountain. Two more inches of rain fell yesterday. That is on top of the 2" we received the day before. The mountain is WET!!! The high yesterday was 55 with a low of 46. We are currently socked in expecting more rain. To bad I don't have a boat up here, I would boat into town.

Sounds like its gonna be a good day for a good book or board games on the mountain. Love the pic of the swing. We sat in it back in September and had a beautiful view of a full moon on the mountain. Breathtaking! Enjoy your day!

I AM there; in spirit at least. I don't care what the weather is like when I'm at the lodge, as long as I'm there.

We'll try to bring you some of western NY's sunny & 70's weather with us next week! Very much looking forward to our visit-these posts & pics have been a great way for us to get to know the mountain.

Winifred I couldn't agree with you more. Doug Y. you inspire me as well. Your inspiring posts, seeming to appear on a day to day basis, leave we me feeling warm inside regardless of the weather.
