Glad you made it back safely. Enjoy your pictures every day. I envy the beautiful sights you see every day.
I have a suggestion. I really enjoy the different languages for saying hello, but it would be helpful to add in parentheses what language it is. Some of the more well known ones we recognize. You can add Irish for good morningMaidin mhaith. In Scottish it'sMadainn mhath. We enjoy your photos and notes. So how do you stay supplied with food, etc.?Some friends of mine had their wedding on the top of Mt. LeConte YEARS ago.Stay warm.Becky Smith
Is this a normal December? Seems especially brutal. I had been considering a trip up this past weekend but I was wise to abandon that idea.

Alex, glad you are back safely. Just curious how long does it take a seasoned hiker/mountain man like you to make it to the top in knee deep snow? Also wondering, Dan, did you make it to the top of LeConte or abandon your quest?Ciao
