Need Good Weather

9/16/2010

Cloudy skies are hanging around. I hope the wind pushes the rainy weather out of here. We have a wedding happening on the mountain today. Two old crew members are heading back up the mountain to say their vows. I will post pictures in the morning. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather. Yesterdays weather was great. The high was 68 with a low of 51.

When I'm at the Lodge, ANY weather is good weather.

Sure did miss my annual stay at LeConte on the 12th but my daughter Darcy and her husband said they enjoyed it. She especially liked talking with the crew members, seeing her old cabin, which she said was really awesome now. She hated that she missed Henry. Said things had really changed there since she crewed in '96! I'm already looking forward to next year...when I will be the one making the hike! Enjoy reading the comments and seeing all the pictures. Makes me miss the Smokies..my favorite place to visit each year!
