Good Morning,

The stillness of mountain on this clear morning was mesmerizing. The rising sun broke me from my trance, and I was quickly reminded that time continues to march on, even in the overwhelming stillness.

It looks as if it may be a carbon copy of yesterday's beautiful weather. Our high yesterday made it up to 43 degrees, with an evening low of 27 degrees. There are still traces of snow up top, and the trails will be icy in sections. It's another great day to explore the park. See you out there!!

Cheers,
Seth

Welcome Seth!
I am looking forward to reading your blog and seeing some amazing photos this winter! I am fascinated that you can live up there in such a beautiful secluded place all winter. I will certainly live vicariously through your words and images until we can get up there again next year! Again, welcome and have a safe winter season!

HELLO Seth, I'm looking forward to your posts this winter. I really like being able to see the winter pictures and here what is going on up there. We were there in April and I hope to get back up there. It was wonderful. So peaceful. Enjoy your winter stay.

So long JP, I really enjoyed your poetic posts these past few years. Seth, I look forward to reading about the most extreme winter weather in the Southeast. Stay warm this winter.
