This weekend is shaping up to be November’s finest. Sunny skies and chilly air with waning autumn color below. We’re about 2.5 weeks away from closing things up for the winter, and this spectacular weekend could be one last good opportunity to visit the mountain while there are still leaves on the trees.
Friday’s high temp was a cup-of-hot-chocolate-inducing 28°, and our low reading from yesterday was 16°. We’re currently in the low 20’s under impeccably clear skies. No new precipitation.
It seems like we’re losing daylight hours fast these days, while still adjusting to the time change from last weekend. Starting this Sunday, we will revert back to our typical guest supper time of 6:00 PM, leaving folks plenty of time to descend from Cliff Tops as sunset hits the 5:30 mark. Breakfast is at 8:00 AM, well after sunrise.
Bring those warm layers and traction devices, watch for ice on the trail, and have a fabulous weekend!
