Happy Friday!

We are currently enjoying another clear and sunny day here on LeConte. With temps in the lower 50s here, the llamas will be enjoying the break from the heat when they arrive. Yesterday, our high reached a lovely 65 while our overnight low hit 52 degrees. Today is expected to be another nice day as temps are slowly creeping towards the lower 60s. Another beautiful day and start to a fantastic weekend!

On Wednesday of this week, Jacob Line, made the hard hike leaving from the top of the mountain, reaching the trailhead and back up again in order to bring windows for some updates to our managers quarters. At the trail head, his mom, Lisa Line, met him with a Subway sandwich and sent him on his way. Alum Cave trail was no match for Jacob and his 70 pound pack (a frame pack, five bungee cords and the windows) as he made it up in two and a half hours. Thank you  Crowder Construction and Jacob for all your hard work!

We were coming down when he was going up. My family and I talked about him the rest of the week.
