The wind was relentless yesterday, but we managed to get a few trips in. Most of our supplies are on the mountain. Just a few more trips and we will be finished. Today is not looking so good. The low last night was 26. It is currently 36 and the clouds are blanketing the mountain. I don't think they are going to move out anytime soon. The weather forecast is not calling for another clear day until Saturday. As those of you who have visited the mountain know, you never know what the weather will do on top of Mt. LeConte.

I'm 12 hours north of you and the winds were horrible, but 60 degrees. Such strange weather all over the country. Looks a little thick up there!

It would appear things are thinning out. The link below is for the Look Rock webcam which looks at LeConte from something like 30 miles away.

I love being up on Leconte! The fog adds to the atmosphere of just being there! It's a magical place! I will be up there this month!

Great webcam. Gets a lot closer. Were any choppers visible yesterday? Weird Angle though. The apparent high peak, the one on the right, has to be Cliff Tops, with the higher High Top well left of there. High Top IS higher, but Cliff Tops LOOKS higher.
