I could hardly believe my eyes when I spotted the first wild flower of the season. This delicate spring beauty was sitting proudly in my flower bed on the top of the mountain. I was in shock to see this sign of spring before April. The weather has been unseasonably warm. Yesterday's temperature was 59. John and Bonnie hiked down Bullhead to check out the flower scene. They reported several species in full bloom. The crew has been trying to soak in every minute of the sun's warmth. You never know when winter could decide to return to the lodge for one more show.

Unreal weather isn't it?! We were there in April last year and had 16 degree weather and SNOW, so you never know. YAY! on the steps!! Good job Chris and Allyson!! The camp has NEVER looked better since you two have been there. You both are WONDERFUL!! It warms my heart to think of people like you being there and taking such great care of such a SPECIAL place for us!!!!! THANK YOU!!!

Wow so pretty! Have the llamas been able to make their way up to the lodge yet? Comments are closed.
