 Sunrise this morning I know, I am starting to get spoiled with the amazing weather we have had up top. Today is not going to fall into that category. There are high winds and rain on the mountain this morning. The low last night was 34 and high yesterday never got above 42. Just when I thought spring was here, mother nature decided to play a trick on me. It is a good thing I just started a really good book, there will be know hiking in my plans for the day.

Nothing wrong with a good book. I would trade a day of rain and wind on the mountain for a days work in Louisiana anytime.Stay dry,see yall in July.

Your photograph says it quite well about conditions on the mountain sometimes ! Perhaps I should bring my night vision goggles for you to use when I return ! I agree with Ryan, a day of rain, wind, and fog at the lodge does wonders for one's soul ! Such surrealistic atmosphere is most relaxing for me.

When I first saw your photo for today I thought for sure you were having trouble with your camera! I love settling in with a good book on a cold, yukky day! Wishing you sunshine tomorrow!
