Thanks for the pictures and update. Stay warm in the Winter Wonderland of the Smokies.
Hey fella's! Hope you all are looking forward to all this. Hoping many can participate. Alex, the pics are awe inspiring. Thank you so much.
Alex, i want your job. :)Stay warm!
I love that top photo. I can just imagine how quiet it must have been. Very cool!
So beautiful i hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year
I love that last stretch through the pines. You know you are there. Looks a lot better in snow than water rushing down it.
Are those pics from today? Jan. 4? Two friends and I were looking at coming up there on Jan. 15, and we were going to take snowshoes. But some of the reports I had seen said there was only an inch of snow on Leconte. That looks to be more than an inch.
Just when I think I can't be awed by your photos, you hit me with another one. The top one is striking and is now my on desktop until you thrill me with yet another! Thank you!LB in GA
Can't wait to check this out next week with the Somerset Fight Club
Is there shelter up top for a winter overnight? Would love to make a trek out there, but from Greensboro a Day hike doesn't seem like a feasible trip.
Welcome to the LeConte Lodge blog. We hope you enjoy the information we provide to make your trip to the lodge the best it can be.
