I awoke in the middle of the night and thought I was missing a firework display. The lightening was flashing about 100 times a minute. Then the rain came in. Chris said it felt like he was baking biscuits in a disco. The rain has stopped for the moment. We might be lucky and have it move on out. Yesterday was a beautiful 74 degrees and sunny skies. I could take some more days like that. My "Happy Light" has been working double time. For those of you that don't know what a "Happy Light" is, it is a light that emits light similar to natural sunlight. It helps me when we have days and days of rain. So far, I have been very pleased with it. I think the crew likes it as well.

So glad we made the hike on Monday, what a lovely day !! Hiked with my 16yo step grandson to cap off his 10 week visit to our mountain home. We'll be back again next year and I may make a trip or two by myself.

the "Happy Light" is by Verilux. Chris bought it for me for my birthday. I believe he got it off of Amazon. I sit in front of it for at least 30 minutes a day. Usually while I am writing the blog. I can tell a huge difference.

When I first looked at the photo, I thought it was taken in the middle of the afternoon in sunshine. I wish I could have been there to see all the lightning! Comments are closed.
