Pre-dinner rainbow after a crew member's laundry got an impromptu "second-rinse cycle".
Happy Saturday! Talk about perfect weekend weather...yesterday's high was a warm and sunny 71 and the overnight low was 49. We finally got a little rainfall before dinner when a lovely afternoon shower dropped .3" and then cleared up for a rainbow!
Today has been beautiful so far, clear skies that are just starting to take on that deeper autumn blue. While it is still warm, currently 61 degrees, I am willing those lovely cool fall days to get here faster (Jedi weather mind powers, you know). Come up and enjoy this beautiful weather!

Beautiful pictures today. Love the smell of fresh rained on dried clothes. Consider that a plus for the laundry for the day. :)

My husband & I had a wonderful time staying with y'all Thursday night! The staff was awesome & so welcoming & informative! The food was delicious! Everything was perfect for our time up there. Thanks again Ruthie for the blister bandaid. It helped tremendously hiking down the mountain. I'll bring you a box the next time we come up! Thanks again for everything & we can't wait until we can come back up!

Hi Everyone, just back from a few days at the top of the world. Tammy and I had another great trip to LeConte Lodge. Ruthie was off our first day, and we were fortunate to be able to speak to Brian for awhile- what a great spokesman for the Lodge, Ruthie came home the next day and jumped in everywhere to make sure everyone

Was settled and comfortable, entire staff walking around smiling and helping. Something right is definitely going on up there. Norman- I know how much you want to be there- so I used my eyes and looked twice at everything for you. Thanks everyone up and down for our great time!

Keith, happy to see a fellow Southwest Florida resident posting here. I'm just a few miles south of you in Naples. I've been up to LeConte 7 or 8 times so far and plan to make many more trips. My last trip up was in January to meet JP. It was cold and icy but may have been my most memorable trip so far. I have take every trail that leads to the Lodge once and Alum Cave a few times. That is one magical place. Hope you can enjoy the Lodge many more times as well. HAGD!

Great up and down today. Rainbow up bullhead down. Followed the storms down and missed them all till 1/4 mile from end. No critters just quiet peaceful.

Can't wait. Doing a day trip tomorrow with my son. Curious, what times is the store open? We have got to get our annual LeConte Shirt.
