Hello and good morning from another foggy, chilly day! Yesterday's high only reached 60 and the low overnight was 52 and we finally received .35"of rain yesterday! It looks like we are in for more today as well. It is certainly cool, only 54 degrees, and there is a thick layer of clouds that has settled into camp...this is optimal tea and knitting weather on the mountain!

Everything looks so green around the lodge! Lucky deer, having such a nice "home" to grow up around. If it's smart, it will stay around the lodge, but I suppose as the seasons change and the temps drop it might move to a warmer spot below. Wow, 6 to 7 weeks for me until I try to make it to the top! Have a great day!

both of them
Lazy day for me. Did a little time warping. Spent a little time going through the pictures on the blog for the past 5 years. Amazing how much we have changed but, the Ole Lodge and Mt. LeConte is the same 5 years ago as it is today and I hope way into the future. Comments are closed.
