Overcast skies is the name of the game. We were a cloaked mountain top most of Friday, and Saturday is shaping up that way too. There’s a possibility the gray wall breaks open as the day progresses, but we aren’t banking on seeing much in the way of sunny rays today. It continues to look and feel more like autumn up here. The vegetation is taking on that brown hue. Due to the forest type, we don’t see much leaf change at this elevation to begin with. Temps should again spend most of their time in the 40s and 50s. Sunday looks sunnier with consistent temps, so if you’re waiting for more promising skies, starting tomorrow the prospects look better.
