It’s been another gorgeous September day high above the Smokies! Yesterday’s high temperature came in at 68 degrees, and our low was 57. There was no precipitation for a change, and current conditions are partly cloudy with temps in the lower 60s.
If you are looking to visit the mountain these next two weekends, accessing the park from the TN side in particular, please be aware of the upcoming high congestion events taking place in Sevier County. The Shades of the Past Hot Rod Roundup (9/7-9/8) and then the Fall Rod Run (9/13-9/15) will sure to be slowing things down through Pigeon Forge. Plan your routes and travel times accordingly to avoid the traffic congestion.
Circumstances have us changing up the llama schedule this week, as can always happen. We’ll look to see our favorite fuzzy friends this Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
