The winds have been howling all night long. The sky is grey and the weather man is calling for rain. The high yesterday was 52 with a low of 43. We received a total of 2" of rain within 2 hours. I was beginning to think we might end up in Gatlinburg.

It is raining and thundering here in Indiana too with possibility of severe weather developing. Your pic is much prettier than the one outside my backdoor! Today I'll be on the couch with a good book wrapped up in my "LeConte" quilt I made from LeConte t-shirts I accumulated over the years from my trips up the mountain. Guess that is as close to heaven as I can get right now, that and the wonderful pics and daily headlines you provide. Thanks, Allyson.

I so wish I was there today. I have scheduled a June trip, hoping that will make me get out and get in shape. The daily pictures are such motivation!

Fabulous pic Allyson. You ever think of entering any of them in a photo contest?

I think she would do well just combining all the pics into some kind of book

That's a great idea Scott. Maybe made into a coffee table book. Put me down for the first one. Comments are closed.
