Six and half inches of new snow.

3/15/2010

Yesterday brought 6 1/2" of fresh snow, making it a total of 33". The low last night was 22 with a high yesterday of 28 degrees. We are watching the forecast closely to determine if we are going to be able to bring the supplies in any time soon. I am a glass half full kinda gal and even I am a bit worried. I am sending out an S.O.S. Will everyone please take a minute to send positive thoughts our way to make this airlift happen.

Not to fear. I was once blessed by a great medicine man in the bush of Kenya, Africa. I'll go out at midnight, chant some encantations while I dance around a fire, and send positive vibrations your way !

I don't think my encantations were effective. Perhaps I danced the wrong way around that fire last night, or else that medicine man in Kenya was a quack ! I know it works when I'm on Kilamanjaro, but I'll try again tonight using a special one for Mt. LeConte. Sure would love to come over today and help out, but duty keeps me here in this engineering office; Good luck.
