Snow Day

10/30/2011

It was a cold day on the mountain. The temperature hovered in the low twenties all day. The low last night was 18 degrees. The sun is shining this morning. Hopefully that will help warm it up and melt some of the ice.

The photos of the snow are great. Our first hike to the lodge is to be Wed. Nov 2nd, yearning for the beauty of the snow, but being from the Gulf Coast of AL, my brain is yelling, I hope it warms up before Wed.

looks absolutely beautiful! Wish I were there to enjoy it.

Annice: Welcome to the LeConte world. Have a great and safe trip up the mountain and sip, sip that hot chocolate to stay warm.

Will be hiking up Monday morning and spending the night. Will be a big difference in weather from what we are used to. We're from MS gulf coast (this night so happens to be our anniversary :) See ya there.
